The combination of phytotherapeutic products with a natural anti-inflammatory synergistic action allows to act by reducing the levels of interleukin IL-17, a cytokine that promotes inflammation and that plays an important role in chronic inflammation and in the development of autoimmune diseases, allergies and psoriasis. Recent studies have also shown that the concentration of IL-17 increases in the serum of subjects affected by cancer, and that it can therefore have a significant prognostic value.
The modulation of this cytokine can allow to obtain a regulation of the inflammatory state fundamental to improve the state of health. The FITO ANTIFLAM IL-17 formula is based on the combination of the main natural substances capable of inhibiting Interleukin IL-17: Andrographys Paniculata, Quercitin, Curcumin, Resveratrol, Scutellaria and Ginseng. These substances fight inflammation with a broad-spectrum action on the whole organism, also counteracting inflammation defined as silent or low-grade. Andrographis, according to traditional medicine, has shown numerous beneficial properties including antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory and antiviral.
The anti-inflammatory properties of the plant can also be useful in the adjuvant treatment of various conditions characterized by chronic inflammation, such as ulcerative colitis, osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Based on recent studies, Andrographis Paniculata is useful in the treatment of colds and flu conditions involving the throat and tonsils. A recent study has shown the ability to significantly reduce, in just 2 days, symptoms such as sore throat, nasal discharge and earaches.
Scutellaria is known in traditional medicine to support the health of the Immune System, protect against inflammation and promote relaxation and mental well-being. Together with Adrographis it supports the immune system, provides relief from cold and flu symptoms, reduces inflammation. Scutellaria is rich in Baicalin, a flavonoid antioxidant, which can help fight oxidative stress and inflammation. It has also shown potential antitumor effects. For example, in vitro studies have shown that Baicalin induced cell death in prostate and cervical cancer cells, significantly inhibiting the growth of ovarian and pancreatic cancer cells.
In a study of 374 patients with rheumatoid arthritis and coronary artery disease, 500 mg of Baicalin per day significantly reduced blood lipids and inflammation markers. Andrographis, Scutellaria and Magnolia contribute synergistically to normal immune defenses. Ginseng has a tonic action, even in cases of physical and mental fatigue, fights free radicals and contributes to immunomodulatory action. Ginseng is attributed with adaptogenic properties. In particular, it is believed to be able to improve resistance, both physical and mental, to stress and fatigue, in case of convalescence and tiredness. Curcumin, Resveratrol and Quercetin are among the most powerful antioxidants present in nature, play an important cellular protective role and contribute to the general anti-inflammatory action on the whole organism.
